These are the documented significant changes in TMA since the most recent major release which was TMA 7.4.0.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.7.4 Release March 2026):
* Updated the drivers for the USB security key and the DTMF Transceiver to support the Windows 11 Device Security (Core Isolation). Also, updated the MDAC 2.0 installation to allow user intervention to bypass the unsupported OLE DB components.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.7.3 Release September 2025):
* Update the digital certificate by Global Sign with a new expiry of 09-MAR-2028

>>> Changes in TMA 7.7.2 Release September 2021):
* Updated the GSM Phone Interface (GPI) to support a new GSM modem by TrioRail and completely replaced the GSM modem library with a paid third-party tool.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.7.1 Release May 2019):
* Fixed report formating issue for emailed reports

>>> Changes in TMA 7.7.0 Release March 2019):
* Added support for Windows 10 by digitally signing the drivers for the DTMF Transceiver (expires 4/4/2022)
* Fixed a bug with monitoring only VoIP phones without setting up a DTMF Transceiver line from SPICom
* Added an understandable error message in the event an analog phone is attempted to be polled before configuring a line in SPICom
* Fixed bug in the Call-In Exeption Report so it now prints
* Fixed report formating issues with a long Description or Tag/ID field.
* Improved the logic for migrating a database since it's not needed for databases after TMA 7.6.0

>>> Changes in TMA 7.6.0 Release September 2015):
* Added monitoring support for GAI-Tronics GSM cellular phones.
* Completely re-written SPI application called SPICom that communicates to multiple modems in a single interface.  The old serial communication protocol know as TAPI is no longer used.
* Removed the LaunchDTMF and Voice Line Selector applications.  The new modems can now be configured from within the SPICom directly.  TMA now has the ability to start-up SPICom, VPI and GPI together and can be configured in the TMA Options.
* Added email support for VoIP and GSM phones to send an email when a critical fault is detected.
* Added ability to send an email during polling if the phone fails to be completely polled (Critical Faults Notification Email).
* Various bug fixes and other minor improvements.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.5.3 Release June 2014):
* Fixed a bug in the VPI to handle a CLI Shutdown.
* Fixed a bug in TMA that would remove the Yellow-X for a VoIP phone after a poll call and before the critical fault cleared.
* Fixed a bug in TMA to calculate lower case characters for the checksum of the memory dial numbers in Type A & B phones.
* Discontinued support for the Windows XP operating system.
* The VPI targets Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0.
* Removed Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 from the installer.
* Other minor bug fixes.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.5.2 Release March 2014):
* Fixed a bug in the VPI to handle all generate output types, SYSLOG bug and other minor issues.
* Made some corrections in the automated reports that worked fine in the manual reports.
* Fixed a bug with Audio Path Test fault reporting the wrong status if the Last Maintenance Call Interrupted indicated Fails.
* Moved the Audio Path Test in the call to run before the sensor and fault status are retrieved.
* Updated the TMA User Guide
* Other minor bug fixes.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.5.1 Release (November 2013):
* Distribute the TMA installation on a USB Flash Drive in place of a CDROM disk (Installation Bulletin updated).
* Updated VPI to support non-USA date formats which affected date range checking in TMA, VoIP phone status is inclded again in each poll call, and resolved an issue with the DNS gateway.
* Fixed TMA's DEMO MODE to not remove the XMLSchema folder which would criple TMA and require a reinstallation.
* Fixed an issue with the TMA toolbar and added buttons to expand or collapse the entire treeview.
* Fixed a bug in TMA to correctly match the Host Name in the XML (not case sensitive).
* Other minor bug fixes.

>>> Changes in TMA 7.5.0 Release (June 2013):
* Added monitoring support for GAI-Tronics VoIP phones
* Added support for the VoIP phones to the User Guide (help system) and Installation Bulletin
* Added compatibility support for TMA to run on Windows(R) 8
* Moved the "PhonesServiceTools" folder from the "Program Files" tree now located under "C:\TMA Communications"
* The 'Grace Period' between call-ins can be configured through the TMA Options form
* Used GlobalSign to digitally sign the drivers for the GAI-Tronics DTMF Transceiver
* Used GlobalSign to digitally sign the executable files for TMA

* Fixed a bug with Global Documents
* Fixed the Maintenance Calls report and Call In report to display the correct Line Current.
* Fixed the display problem for the list of all the phones on the right-side.
* Added support for the GTL phones to the User Guide (help system).
* Various bug fixes

>>> Changes in TMA 7.4.1 Release (December 2011):
* Added a new GTC phone type to monitor, "Type A Handset"
* Added a level of protection to prevent a phone created in TMA to send or receive data if the phone types do not match during a poll call.
* E-mail capability is now integrated for live (after each poll or call-in) fault notifications and also each automated report can be e-mailed instead of printed or in addition to being printed.
* Extreme GUI optimization for the main window treeview (groups and phones) and the listview (phones) especially noticible on large systems with many groups and phones.  The splash screen and status bar will now indicate when it's building the groups and phones or when it's refreshing the icons which should now be a lot faster!  Also the phone list on the right will show the number of phones in the selected group in parenthesis. The phone's full path will also be in a tooltip when you hover over a phone in the list to help in locating which group a phone is located in.
* Secret keystrokes to expand and collapse the whole treeview by holding the Ctrl key and the Alt key while pressing the minus key (to collapse) or the plus key (to expand).  The plus and minus keys on the NumPad must be used.
* SPI pop-up error has been eliminated (Error 50).

>>> Changes in TMA 7.4.0 Release (April 2011):
* Added a new GTC phone type to monitor, "Type A Hands-free (RED ALERT)"
* Changed phone type descriptions of GTC handset and hands-free phones ("Type A" and "Type B" phones)
* Templated Phones which allows the user to designate any phone of one specific type to be the "master phone" that any newly created phone will obtain it's default settings from.
* The TMA User Guide has been re-written and is now the help system for TMA and contains vauable and practical information with both using and understanding TMA.
* Larger icons for groups and phones which can be toggled between the small, original icons if desired.
* The New Phone Wizard has been enhanced to allow the user to add a new phone by selecting the currently templated phone from their system.
* The monthly archive process now also archives entries from the Phone Communication Errors which was known to grow quite large and become unmanageable over time.
* An internal process has been added to automatically upgrade any TMA database to the latest version when that database is opened instead of requiring a customer to send us each database they needed upgraded.
* Various bug fixes and better error handling in the code
